Choosing a module

Pick the speed your switch port supports (1G SFP, 10G SFP+ or 25G SFP28), then the medium: SR for multimode fibre, LR or LX for single mode, or an RJ45 module for copper. DAC cables link nearby switches and servers at the lowest cost.

Compatibility

Each module is coded for a particular switch brand. Choose the version that matches your switch, and check the model and software support for third party optics.
